Ahead of the IND vs BAN T20 WC warm-up match, New York Stadium wows Rohit Sharma and Nazmul Shanto

Ahead of their June 1st T20 World Cup warm-up clash, Rohit Sharma and Najmul Hossain Shanto have been left speechless by the grandeur of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
Set to host its first T20 World Cup match on June 3rd, the stadium is a marvel of rapid construction, completed in just three months. Both Rohit Sharma and Nazmul Shanto were visibly impressed by the finished product. “It looks beautiful,” said Sharma, praising the open ground and the anticipated atmosphere. Shanto, who had only seen the stadium in photos, was equally awestruck, calling it “unbelievable” and “crazy.”
With India’s first group game against Ireland scheduled for June 5th at the same venue, the warm-up match against Bangladesh takes on added significance. “We’re looking to understand the conditions more importantly,” said Rohit Sharma, emphasizing the importance of getting acclimated to the pitch and atmosphere.
With the T20 World Cup making its debut in the United States, excitement is building. “People in New York will be very interested in coming and watching,” said Rohit Sharma, acknowledging the anticipation among fans.
