Ahead of T20 World Cup Mohammed Siraj’s dismal season should be worry for Team India

In IPL 2024 Royal Challengers Bengaluru is present at the bottom of the points table. The bowling line-up, like every season, has not been up to par. Lead pacer Mohammed Siraj, has been the worst bowler in the powerplay among all teams in the current IPL. And that should be worrying for Team India. With Mohammad Shami out with injury and Arshdeep Singh struggling for form, Siraj would have been India’s 2nd lead pacer to partner JaspritBumrah in the T20 World Cup 2024.

However, Siraj has been disappointing, to say the least in the powerplay. In the 10 overs he has bowled during the powerplay, he has leaked 123 runs. Siraj has an economy of 12.3, conceding 10 sixes.
