Ahead of his tour to India, Ben Stokes undergoes successful knee surgery

The all-rounder of the England cricket team, Ben Stokes, announced that his knee surgery was successful, and now it is time for him to undergo rehabilitation. Recently, Stokes has come out of ODI retirement in order to participate in the ICC ODI men's cricket world cup 2023, where he played as a specialist batter. The issue with his knee has prevented him from playing as an all-rounder effectively, as he has rarely bowled as of late.
Stokes said in his tweet, “In and out under the knife done, rehab starts now.”
Stokes did come back from his ODI retirement for the team, but his comeback didn't help the three lions defend their World Cup title. They delivered an underwhelming title campaign, as they have won only three out of nine matches they have played. Although they got a spot to play in the Champions Trophy 2025, the highly feared batting lineup of England failed to live up to its hype.
