Watch the video below.
Rohit Sharma led the team from the front till the end of the chase and hit 65 runs, which helped MI chase down the target of 173 runs. MI needed only two runs as they finally reached the mark off the final ball, turning it into a thriller. However, thanks to Rohit, they were always in charge of the chase.
More importantly, this was the 26th half century of Rohit in a winning cause, making it his 41st IPL half century. In this regard, he surpassed AB de Villiers, who had hit 25 half centuries in winning causes throughout the course of his amazing IPL career. It’s interesting to note that David Warner’s valiant 51-run inning, which gave him the lead at the top of the list, went in vain.
While talking about the match, Rohit Sharma led the team while scoring 65 runs out of 45 balls as MI reached the target of 173 runs in the final ball.
