After watching IND vs. PAK in the USA, Mumbai Cricket Association president Amol Kale passes away

As per the reports, In a tragic turn of events, the president of the Mumbai Cricket Association, Amol Kale, passed away due to cardiac arrest in the USA. The administrator was a spectator for the high-octane IND vs. PAK match at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. As per the report, Kale watched the match along with other office-bearers of the MCA.
Hailing from Nagpur, Kale was based in Mumbai for well over a decade, setting up a variety of businesses. He was considered to be a close aide of DevendraFadnavis, Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister.
After defeating World Cup champion Sandeep Patil in a closely contested battle in October 2022, Kale was elected as the MCA president. He was instrumental in the MCA's decision to double Mumbai’s senior men’s match fees starting in the forthcoming season.
Besides being at the helm of MCA’s affairs, he was also a co-promoter of the Indian Street Premier League, a tennis-ball franchise cricket league launched earlier this year.
