After video-calling his father, Yashasvi Jaiswal started crying

The young opener of the Indian Cricket Team, Yashasvi Jaiswal, had a Dream start to his International career as he repaid the faith of the selectors by performing so well against the West Indies cricket team in the first test match on Thursday.
He used to peddle ‘panipuri’ for pocket money. After his century, when he reached out to his father, he was in tears.
Jaiswal’s father said that the India opener called him at around 4:30 AM during the Dominica Test. "He called at around 4:30 a.m. (IST) on Day 2 after making his century. He struggled to contain his tears. And I sobbed. It was an extremely emotional time. He struggled to speak for a while. He was worn out."
Jaiswal’s father, Bhupendra, who owns a small paint store in Bhadohi, further stated, "He just asked me, ‘Are you happy, father?'"
In his first game for the Asian giants, the 21-year-old became the third Indian batsman to achieve 150 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal was rewarded for his prolific domestic scoring streak as he and captain Rohit formed a critical 229-run partnership.
