After the ‘Shameful’ loss against Afghanistan, fans lambast the Pakistan cricket team

After Pakistan lost their first ever ODI match against Afghanistan, fans on social media took a dig at the Pakistan cricket team. However, nothing can be taken from the Afghanistan side, who were absolutely brilliant in Chennai. As a result, Babar Azam and Co. had to suffer a loss of eight wickets.
One of the fans wrote, “If Afghanistan wins tonight, I wouldn't call it an upset. It is the result of their efforts and great determination. Another fan wrote, “Tough pill to swallow for Pakistan, but trust me, this is not an upset. Afg came close to beating Pak in recent times as well but got over the line today thanks to a top-batting effort by the top 4. Very well played, whereas one more fan wrote, “Afghanistan. You are serious brave hearts. To beat two World Cup winners, current and past, is something that will make the world spin around faster. Take a bow, you guys. You have shown the world what you are made of on the biggest stage. Whistle Poddu, Chennai
Earlier in the match, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. The Men in Green openers started on a good note. Skipper Babar Azam also looked in good touch, but the Afghani spinners kept a lid on the scoring rate. However, some late hitting from all-rounders Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed meant that Pakistan crossed the 280-run mark.
Chasing a decent total, Afghanistan openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran completed their fifties. Rahmat Shah, who came to bat at number 3, also played well for his fifty. Skipper Shahidi also remained unbeaten for his 48 runs.
