Kolkata Knight Riders finished their amazing IPL 2024 campaign on a perfect note by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the finals to clinch that title. It was the third IPL title for KKR after 2012 and 2014. Andre Russell took three wickets, while Harshit Rana and Mitchell Starc took two wickets each, as Kolkata beat Hyderabad by only 113 runs.
In response, Rahmanullah Gurbaz along with Venkatesh Iyer looked in amazing form to guide their team to a convincing 8-wicket victory. After the match, the owner of Hyderabad, Kavya Maran, could not control her tears as she waved towards the crowd, and the video of her reaction after the match has gone viral on social media platforms.
