After Team India's tour of the West Indies, Ajinkya Rahane is going to play for Leicestershire

Senior batsman Ajinkya Rahane is going to represent English county side Leicestershire in the second division after finishing his two test assignments with the Indian cricket team against the West Indies. Rahane, who is the former captain of the Indian cricket team, recently made his successful comeback to the team during the finals of the World Test Championship against Australia earlier this month. He signed the deal with Leicestershire back in January and was supposed to play eight first-class games and also the entire Royal London curve, which is going to be held between June and September after the completion of his IPL stint with the Chennai Super Kings.
As per the statement by a BCCI source, "Ajinkya, after the two Tests in the West Indies (which are supposed to end on July 24), is supposed to fly directly to England and join Leicestershire for the remainder of the season. He will play in the Royal London Cup in August and a possible four County games in September, as he is unlikely to be a part of the "white ball scheme of things."
