After MI clash MS Dhoni missing as CSK players visit famous Siddhivinayak Temple

Following their brilliant victory in the El Clasico of the IPL 2024, the players of Chennai Super Kings looked to blow some steam. The Chennai outfit claimed a narrow 20-run win in a nailbiter at Wankhede.

With their next match scheduled on Friday, the Chennai Super Kings players took some time off from training to get a break. Newly appointed captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, alongside, Shardul Thakur and Tushar Deshpande were spotted at the Shree Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai.

However, quick-eyed fans noticed that former captain MS Dhoni, who often joined the group was absent from the visit. The star player displayed vintage form throughout the tournament, showing explosive batting prowess. Dhoni closed CSK’s innings in style, with 20 runs off just 4 balls, with three consecutive sixes. Although Rohit Sharma smashed a century, it was CSK who came out on top.

Dhoni was limping when the CSK players arrived at the team hotel following their win against MI. Despite his blazing innings of 20 runs off four balls, Dhoni seemed to be uncomfortable as he headed to the foyer. His evident struggle sparked questions about his health for CSK’s upcoming encounter against LSG on April 19 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium.
