After match winning 86 Shikhar Dhawan says I am trying my best to improve strike rate

The captain of IPL franchise Punjab Kings, Shikhar Dhawan, said on Wednesday that he has made a conscious effort to improve his strike rate, especially in the middle overs. He played a match-winning knock of 86 runs in only 56 degrees, where he hit nine boundaries and three sixes in Guwahati against the Rajasthan Royals.
Shikhar Dhawan was involved in a 90-run partnership with fellow opener Prabhsimran Singh, who scored 60 runs in only 36 balls. Shikhar Dhawan took his time before he started attacking the spinners of the Rajasthan Royals in the middle overs. Dhawan was batting and had gone 41 for 33 at the end of the 13th over, but then he targeted leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and hit three boundaries in the very next over. Dhawan finished this match with a strike rate of 150.57, which helped Punjab Kings post a target of 197 for Rajasthan Royals.
