After Kapil Dev, Ravindra Jadeja becomes the second Indian to achieve this rare milestone

Now, in the match against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2023, he has reached a special landmark with the wicket of Shamim Hossain. The wicket took him to 200 ODI wickets, and he is now the second player after the great Kapil Dev to do the double of 2000 runs and 200 wickets.

Jadeja is also the seventh Indian player to take 200 ODI wickets, along with Anil Kumble and Javagal Srinath, the only bowlers to take more than 300 wickets for India in ODIs. Jadeja has been pretty effective in this Asia Cup as well, with wickets at crucial junctures, and is a big player for India with the World Cup around the corner.
