After being ruled out of the IND vs. ENG 2nd Test, Ravindra Jadeja reaches a ‘new home’ for recovery

During India’s 231-run chase in Hyderabad After suffering a hamstring injury, Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the IND vs. ENG 2nd Test. The star all-rounder’s absence has left a gaping hole in the India cricket team’s lineup that will be very difficult for Rohit Sharma and Rahul to fill.
While the severity of Ravindra Jadeja’s injury is yet to be confirmed, the southpaw has been put under the care of VVS Laxman at the National Cricket Academy.
To confirm the news that he’ll spend the next few days at the NCA in Bengaluru, Jadeja put up a status on his Instagram account with the image of the NCA logo and wrote the caption, “Home for the next few days.“
In his absence, a like-for-like replacement in Saurabh Kumar has been added to the squad for the second Test in Vizag. Similar to Jadeja, Saurabh is a left-arm orthodox spinner and a handy batter down the order.
