After a trade move to MI, Hardik Pandya pens down an emotional goodbye note to GT

The all-rounder of Indian cricket team Hardik Pandya has penned an emotional goodbye note to the Gujarat Titans following his trade move to the five-time champion Mumbai Indians, saying it’s been an honour to play for them. Pandya captained GT for two seasons, guiding them to the title in 2022.

Mumbai Indians didn't have enough left in their purse to bring Pandya back, so they had to offload a big signing, and therefore Cameron Green was traded to Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the retention deadline. Pandya returns to the Mumbai-based franchise after a two-year spell with GT.

Pandya posted on X, “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the fans, team, and management at the Gujarat Titans. Being part of the team and leading it has been an absolute honour, and I am immensely thankful for the love and encouragement my family and I have received as a player and as an individual. The memories and experiences with GT will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for the unforgettable journey.”
