After a hiatus of six years, Jammu and Kashmir is ready to host Ranji Trophy matches

The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association announced that they are going to host three Ranji Trophy matches after a break of six years, which is a big development for cricket in the region of Kashmir. The Cricket Association was awarded hosting rights by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, which has led to sporting advancement.
Major Dar, who is in charge of the welding cricket in Kashmir, also verified this development as he announced that the Sheri Kashmir cricket stadium in Srinagar is going to host two of the matches here, as Jammu is going to host the third one. The Jammu game schedule has not been released yet. 
Dar said, “According to the match schedule issued by the BCCI, the J&K Ranji team will play against Maharashtra and services in Srinagar at the Sheri Kashmir cricket stadium.”
Even though the Srinagar matches are slated for October, the local cricketers in the valley say that this is a momentum occasion for the players and the fans who have been waiting eagerly for the return of elite cricket to the area.
