The hosts piled the pressure on India in the second session of Day 2, with Dean Elgar scoring a magnificent hundred in his final Test series. Elgar got to his hundred off 141 balls, hitting 20 boundaries as he tore into the Indian bowling attack that was wayward on Day 2.
Elgar, who is playing his penultimate match in international cricket, scored his 14th Test century and his second against India. Following the early dismissal of Aiden Markram, Elgar took the Indian bowling attack to the cleaners with some masterful batting in tricky playing conditions.
