Afghanistan Created History by Beating South Africa in the ODI series

Afghanistan cricket team made history by defeating South Africa in the second ODI of their series, clinching a 177-run victory in Sharjah on September 20, 2024. After winning the toss, Afghanistan choose to bat first, and scored 311 runs. RahmanullahGurbaz was the standout performer, scoring a century with 105 runs, while AzmatullahOmarzai contributed a quickfire 86 runs off just 50 balls.

In response to this team South Africa struggled significantly, collapsing to 134 all out in just 34.2 overs. Rashid Khan was superb in Afghanistan’s bowling attack, taking 5 wickets for 19 runs, dismantling the South African batting lineup.
