Afghanistan beat Uganda by 125 runs in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024

The bowlers of Afghanistan didn’t allow the batters of Uganda to free their arms in their campaign opener match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. While chasing the target of 184 runs, the African team was bowled out for 58 runs in 16 overs, falling short by 125 runs.
FazalhaqFarooqi was amazing with the ball, as he took five wickets with no Uganda batter making a significant contribution.
Naveen UlHaq took two wickets. Earlier, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (76) and Ibrahim Zadran (70) added 154 runs for the opening wicket. The remaining batters failed, but Afghanistan managed to post 183/5. Cosmas Kyewuta and Brian Masaba took two wickets each.
