Advice from Former Indian Star Sunil Gavaskar for Out of Form Rohit Sharma
The great batsman of the Indian Cricket Team, Sunil Gavaskar, feels that the out-of-form Rohit Sharma should take a break from the IPL and prepare for the upcoming World Test Championship finals against Australia. Gavaskar believes that Rohit's confidence has been hurt after a prolonged run of poor scores in the T20 league. Gavaskar said that "I would say that Rohit should take a break for the time being and keep himself fit for the world test championship final. He can come back again for the last few matches, but right now he should take a little bit of a breather himself.
The finals of the World Test Championship are scheduled to be held at the Oval Stadium in London from June 7 to 11. The horrible performance of Rohit Sharma in the IPL since the last edition is continuing as he failed to trouble the scorer for the second match in succession, which led the Mumbai Indians to settle for a low score of 139 runs against the Chennai Super Kings.
