AB de Villiers says, "Relieved to see Suryakumar Yadav in the World Cup squad"

Former captain of South Africa, AB de Villiers, said that he was relieved to see Suryakumar Yadav in the 15-member squad of Team India for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, which is going to be held in October and November this year.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, De Villiers said he was quite relieved to see Suryakumar picked in India’s World Cup squad, adding that he is a big fan of the Mumbai Indians batter. Suryakumar is the top-ranked T20I batter in the world.
De Villiers said, "I am relieved to see Sky in the World Cup squad. You guys know I am a big fan. He plays in a similar fashion to how I used to in T20 cricket."
He also said that Suryakumar has not cracked the ODI game yet but insisted that he has all the ability to do well in the 50-over game as well. The Mumbai Indians batter has played 26 ODIs and has only scored 511 runs at an average of 24.33 in ODIs.
De Villiers further said that "he hasn't cracked ODI cricket yet, but it's a tiny mind switch that he has got to make. He has all the ability to do it, and I hope he gets his opportunity in the World Cup."
Speaking about wicket-keeping and batsman Sanju Samson, De Villiers said he has all the shots in the book, and it’s just about adjusting his game to ODIs. Samson was picked as the backup player in India’s 17-member Asia Cup squad but was overlooked for the World Cup.
