Aakash Chopra says, “Australia needs more from Glenn Maxwell with the bat"

Former batsman of India cricket team Aakash Chopra has said that Australia needs more from all-rounder Glenn Maxwell with the bat in the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Australia will face hosts India in their opener at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on October 8.
Speaking on his Youtube channel, Chopra said Australia still has to finalize a wicketkeeper, while insisting that they need more from Maxwell with the bat. Maxwell has scored 3,495 runs in 129 matches at an average of 33.61, while striking at 124.69.
Chopra said, “They have not finalized their keeper. Both Josh Inglis and Alex Carey are good players, but who will play in the XI? Maxwell claimed four wickets, but Australia needs him more with the bat. This is one area that is still a bit of a concern. Spin is a potential problem that they might encounter.”
