A tweet by former BCCI Chief Selector Chetan Sharma months after the sting operation says, "Life has been very tough."

It took mere days for the former BCCI chief selector Chetan Sharma to step down from his role back in February this year after a sting operation where he claimed that Hardik Pandya, who has been captaining India in the T20Is since the T20 World Cup, was a frequent visitor at his house. In the video, he further claimed that the Indian players take injections to stay fit. After it was learned by the BCCI, Sharma said that the team management and players had lost faith in him after his false statements.

On Wednesday, Chetan Sharma tweeted from his Twitter account, saying, "Life has been very tough so far. No hope from your near and dear Hope Mata Rani blesses me."

In the sting operation that would bring his two-year stint at the BCCI office to an end, Chetan Sharma would also speak of an alleged clash between former president of the BCCI Sourav Ganguly and former captain of the Indian cricket team Virat Kohli.
