A former star of Team Pakistan criticizes Sanju Samson for his poor Performance against the West Indies

Pakistan's Cricket team has already announced their squad for the Asia Cup 2023, and India is also going to announce their squad by next week. Before the announcement of the squad by Team India, Samsung is likely to get two more chances in the remaining T20Is against the West Indies to convince the selectors that he is a good player to be picked in the squad for the Asia Cup and World Cup 2023. For now, the main focus is on Samsung and Surya Kumar Yadav, but the focus has increased because there is still no confirmation on the availability of Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul. While the latter has shown great progress in the last couple of weeks and looks set to be the preferred keeper and batsman in Asia and the World Cup for team India, Iyer's first-choice for the No. 4 slot is doubtful, at least for the Asia Cup.
Former leg spinner of team Pakistan, Danish Kaneria, like many other followers of the game, is quite disappointed with the performance of Sanju Samson. Kaneria said Samson has had enough chances, and it is high time the Rajasthan Royals captain, who is full of talent, starts scoring regularly.
He further said that "India rested Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli so that they could give others a chance, as many have complained that a few players haven’t had enough opportunities. Now that India has played them, when are you going to score runs, Sanju Samson?" Kaneria said on his YouTube channel. "He has had enough chances now. I was among the people who supported him and wanted him to get consistent opportunities. However, he hasn’t made the most of these chances."
