A former Indian star questions DRS over the dismissal of captain Rohit Sharma

The captain of the Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma, is suffering from a lean patch with the bat. His poor performance has been one of the talking points of the ongoing IPL season. During the match against RCB on Tuesday, Rohit failed to contribute with the bat once again and lost his wicket after Wanindu Hasaranga scored 7 runs in 8 balls in the fifth over of the MI innings. He lost his wicket after a rather controversial decision from the third umpire following a DRS call from RCB.
The delivery of Hasaranga struck Rohit Sharma on his left pad, and the spinner of the RCB made a loud LBW appeal which was turned down by the on-field umpire. After this, RCB quickly challenged the decision, and double tracking showed three reds. Former batsman of the Indian Cricket Team Mohammed Kaif was surprised by the DRS call and wrote in the tweet, "Hello DRS, yah thoda jyada nahi ho gaya?" How can this be LBW?"
After his dismissal against RCB, Rohit Sharma added an unwanted batting record to his name.
