A former batsman of the Indian Cricket Team questions the BCCI WTC finals squad

15 months after Ajinkya Rahane was dropped from the test squad of the Indian cricket team, he is back in the team. Team selectors have selected him in India's squad for the World Test Championship finals against Australia at the Oval, which is going to start on June 7. Rahane has scored 665 runs in 14 matches, and this may not be enough for him to get drafted into the squad, but because of the situations in which BCCI had to fall back on a player, they denoted their central contracts list given the magnitude of the final.
The return of Rahana has created a rage on the internet, as everyone is very happy to see Jinx return to the fold. But former batsman Aakash Chopra of the Indian Cricket Team has raised an interesting point. While expressing his joy at the comeback of Rahani, he questioned the BCCIs WTC final squad, more so for leaving out Suryakumar Yadav. Chopra tweeted, "Happy for Rahane. But how does the Sky inclusion-exclusion rule make sense? Select kyu kiya. Kar liya toh ek match ke baad drop kyu kiya?
For all his credentials in t20s, it is clear that Surya Kumar Yadav is far from a finished product in the other two formats, let alone in the test.
