A big blow for the India Cricket Team as both Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav are doubtful for the IND vs. NZ World Cup 2023 clash

In a big blow to the Indian cricket team, wicketkeeper and batter Ishan Kishan got stung by a honeybee during practice at HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala. According to reports, Ishan Kishan got stung by honeybees during the nets while he was getting ready for the session. The youngster was attended by the team’s medical staff and went off immediately.
Earlier, batsman Suryakumar Yadav got hit by the ball on his right wrist during the net session. Team India is already battling with Hardik Pandya’s injury, who got ruled out of the India vs. New Zealand match due to an ankle injury sustained in the Bangladesh clash.
An BCCI official further confirmed that all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja too is battling a niggle. However, the injury is not serious, and he will be available for the IND vs. NZ clash, like Hardik Pandya.
He said, “Jadeja is fine. When you have surgery, you need long-term care. Knee injuries are such that they tend to hurt back. That is why he was applying an ice pack. There is no immediate concern regarding his niggle. The medical team and the physios are keeping tabs on all the players, including Jadeja.”
