The Nepal cricket team achieved many remarkable feats against Mongolia at Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field in Hangzhou, China, in the Asian Games in the T20I tournament on Wednesday. The Nepal batsmen showcased their dominance and made a mockery of the bowlers of the opposition team with their exceptional performances.
Nepal became the first team ever to score a staggering 300 runs in T20I history, as they posted a huge total of 314 for 3 in just 20 overs. This surpassed the previous record held by Afghanistan, which had scored 278 at the loss of three wickets against Ireland.
Dipendra Singh Airee, who is the batsman for Nepal, showed an amazing performance by scoring the fastest ever T20I fifty in just nine balls. This incredible achievement broke the previous record set by India's legendary all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh, in 12 balls against England during the 2007 T20 World Cup.
Whereas Kushal Malla took the cricketing world by storm with his phenomenal century. Malla reached the milestone in a record-breaking 34 balls, surpassing the previous joint record held by India's Rohit Sharma and South Africa's David Miller, who achieved it in 35 deliveries.
